Scout Network is provided for members aged 18 to 25 as a gateway into leadership.
Network members meet every month to work on projects that enable them to hone their skills as Leaders of the future. Projects are discussed and planned within groups, each member then takes on a particular role within the project whether it be catering, transport, finance or programme planning. The projects can vary somewhat, some examples of these are community impact projects, Queens Scout Award based projects, fundraising events, international working parties and recently an international skiing trip.
Members also have the opportunity to take on a project to gain their Explorer belt. This is awarded for taking part in a 10 day, 50 mile expedition outside of the UK. During the 10 days a project and series of challenges set by a panel are undertaken. This is then presented to district members upon returning to the UK.
